Tigard Playschool’s fundraising mission is to foster community through fun and exciting fundraising events that involve gathering our school together. With that in mind, we host several events throughout the year, and are always open to new and exciting ideas!
To keep tuition costs low, each family is asked to participate in fundraising to benefit the school. The fundraising commitment is $200 per year. Several fundraising projects are offered to help families easily reach this commitment. A buyout is available for families choosing not to participate in the events. A multi-child discount is also available.
Chinook Book Sale – This is a coupon book that supports local sustainable businesses.
Jog-A-Thon- Our kids learn about stretching and exercise and raise money running laps for flat $ amounts raised. This is a true community building event. Face painting, tattoos, food, fun!
Wreath Sale – Just in time for the holidays we commission wreaths and greenery from a local nursery and make money for TPI.
Holiday Bazaar- This event features unique vendors and handcrafters from our TPI community and beyond.
Change for Change Drive – Empty your pockets each day into the box your child brings home and earn money for TPI and a special treat for the class that raises the most money!
Rummage Sale- This is a giant 40+ family sale where you can donate your items and earn money for TPI.
Auction- Our largest fundraiser is an adults only event where parents can eat, meet and bid on amazing items in a live and silent auction.
Hanging Baskets – These are amazing products from Al’s Garden Center in Sherwood. We raise 40% of sales for our school.

Sharing Spree – Select Tigard Playschool as your default non-profit and we will receive 5% of each purchase you make.
Parent’s Nights Out/Restaurant Nights – Many restaurants offer fundraising programs to schools and non-profits. Your job is to eat at the chosen restaurant on the chosen day and the business will donate a % of the qualifying sales to TPI! Gather with other families and go as a community!
Scrip – Purchase pre-paid cards through this program and TPI earns 2-15% of the sale. These gift cards are available from almost every major retailer!
